Jakobsberg University Health Center is part of SLSO, Stockholm County’s healthcare area.
We are located at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg Center, a 18-minute commuter train ride from Stockholm city.
We are a pleasant workplace with about 50 employees from various professions. We have approximately 13,200 registered patients and are one of the larger health centers in the region.

About the Position
As a specialist doctor in general medicine, you will perform standard tasks within primary care. You will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures and mentor future colleagues. The work requires broad medical competence, independence, and good collaboration skills with various professional groups.
We are a University Health Center, which means we are responsible for the continuing education of healthcare personnel in certain areas of expertise. At Jakobsberg University Health Center, we focus on areas such as Cancer in Primary Care (CaPrim), Neurological Diseases, and Pain and Elderly Health.

Qualifications:
- Licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine
- Experience working in primary care
- Familiarity with the TakeCare journal system
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
- Good computer skills, including the Office suite
- Interest in healthcare development, project management, and continuing education

Employment Type:
Permanent full-time employment (100%) as a specialist doctor.
Working hours: Monday–Friday.
Start date: by agreement.

- in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
